DAAS Dental Angulated Abutment System

DAAS represents a proven option for the immediate treatment of remaining or edentulous jaws with fixed dentures.

By angulating the distal implants (up to 35°), important anatomical structures (mental foramen, maxillary sinus) can be spared and a prosthetically favorable support polygon can be generated without major augmentation measures.

As an alternative to conventional impression-taking with elastomers, the oral situation can also be captured using an intraoral scan.

When scanning the DAAS abutment, the superstructure is screwed into the mouth in its final position with torque. The scan body is then placed onto the abutment and scanned either in the mouth using an intraoral scanner or on a model using a laboratory scanner.

With DAAS care, practitioners and patients achieve a safe and predictable treatment result without time-consuming, additional procedures.
