Titanium superstructures

Titanium abutments are a classic solution for creating cementable crown/bridge restorations.

The MCI titanium abutments are prefabricated abutments for all implant diameters. Straight and angled abutments (15° or 25°) are available in different gingival heights.

The alloy used is grade 4 pure titanium, an unalloyed titanium with increased oxygen content. It is characterized by high strength and has high corrosion resistance.

Cast-on structures

MCI offers structures with a cast-on base made of a gold plastic (UCLA) or platinum iridium (PtIr) alloy and customizable plastic cylinders that can be burnt out without leaving any residue. These can be used for screw-retained or cemented crowns, individually designed abutments for bridges and bar restorations, as well as for the production of primary parts using the double crown technique.

The UCLA structure enables the production of individualized structures by casting commercially available gold casting alloys. The structure can be modeled with wax (classic modeling waxes) or with plastic (e.g. Pattern Resin, Pico Plast, etc.).

Melting interval UCLA alloy: between 1400°C - 1470°C.

Melting range PtIr (80/20) alloy: between 1815°C - 1850°C.
